This international contest was really a special thing to me. AGFA brought together the platinium-winners from the 28 countries around the globe they came from. The one from "Malmö" was not able to come - so we where 27. But that was anyways exciting. Our home for this week was a boat in the habour of Antverp - the "Diamond Princess". So many cultures together in such a small space. Yes, there where also prizes and an exhibition of the artworks, but these cultures melting together here where the most interesting thing to me. Astonishing: There was no kind of argueing inbetween us AGFArianers ... just pure interest and wonderful days and nights in Antverp, Gent, Brussels and on the DRUPA in Düsseldorf (the worlds hugest fair about printing, we´ve got our documents from the contest there). It was a really amazing time for me.

About the award: There where the first, the second and the third prize. And above them they choose their absolute favourite design for each country. That was the Platinium Award.

Thank you AGFA - for the award, the amazing time in Antverp, Brussels, Dusseldorf and Gent and not at least for all the inspiration for us young designers!
