„Vision possible 2010“ Shortfilm contest
awarded by the city of Potsdam
SHE IS A BEAUTY, A CITY OF MOVIES AND MEDIA, SCIENCE, BUSINESS & CULTURE. SHE´S FASCINATING. AGAIN AND AGAIN. My birthtown.
My clip for my birthtown Potsdam, based on a video award that I won 2005 in the competition "Vision possible 2010" (third prize) - when Potsdam applied for beeing the cultural capital of Europe for this special year 2010 and announced an amateur video contest about it.
Today this clip - a remake in HD of the first one with some special elements of the first one - is used by the city of Potsdam and the Schloesserstiftung of Potsdam to show the beauty of the city within a few seconds to others. The city of Potsdam had the wish to use music from local composers for the soundtrack. So the people of "artivista" (greetings!) created a GEMA-free soundtrack for the city.
You would probably need about 2 days to just have a quick look at all the sites shown in these 2 minutes. I´ll guess you´d have more than one deja vu if you have seen this little clip and visit the beautiful city afterwards.

Dies ist mein Clip für meine Geburtsstadt Potsdam. Die Stadt schrieb im Rahmen der Bewerbung zur „Kulturhauptstadt Europas 2010“ einen Kurzfilmwettbewerb aus. Ich gewann den dritten Platz mit meinem Film anno 2005.
Heute nutzen die Stadt Potsdam und - das freut mich besonders - auch die Schlösserstiftung den Clip, um anderen Menschen die Stadt in kürzester Zeit näherzubringen.
Der Soundtrack des Clips wurde auf Wunsch der Stadt Potsdam nach lokalen Künstlern eigens von Artivista Potsdam (Grüße!) GEMA-frei produziert. Bleibt mir von Herzen zu wünschen, daß es mit der Stadt und ihrem Umland weiter bergauf geht.
Sie würden mindestens zwei Tage benötigen, um alle Locations des Films wenigstens einmal kurz vor Ort zu besuchen. Wenn Sie in Potsdam sind - und Sie haben den Film zuvor gesehen - werden Sie mit Sicherheit mehr als ein Dejavu haben. Viel Vergnügen!
