Surprise, in the end of march 2001 I won something curious:

It was more a joke for me than a serious competition. The small free german students-magazine "AUDIMAX", which you can get at most of the universities, was looking for the "Uni-Wort des Jahres 2000" (engl. the word of university in the year 2k).

No, it was not the first price. They thought my word "Scheinschuld" was worth the "Dudel" and sent me the package you can see here above. And now guess: What may had been the source of my noodle-experiment from the startupsite? ... :-)

So what is a "Dudel"? Here in germany we have a fat book called "Duden" in which you can find almost all words of our language in spelling and writing. But there have been some changes in the last years in that. Some people agree with the new writing of several words and others do not. So for them the "Dudel" is a fine solution. Its a package of letter-shaped noodles in a box similar in its design to the book "Duden". The Name "Dudel" is a mixture between "Duden" and "Nudel", the german word for pasta or noodles :-) ... this way it depends on you, how you write those words ... anyway, it will become a part of a healthy meal ...

The Dudel, won by the designer Stefan Schultze in 2001 for the uniword of the year, a contest by the magazine audimax, 10 K

The Dudel, a really unexpected award
Got it from the magazine AUDIMAX.
